Shelby and I have attended many Missions Conferences, but we’ve never been one of the missionaries before. We were nervous, but the church was soooo nice and loving and made our whole family feel like part of their family. I believe Jesus was glorified in what was done there!

We got to participate by:

• Attending numerous events over the weekend in order to get to know the members of the church, and give them a chance to get to know us.
• Having a “Display Area” that showcased what we do.
• Sharing at five “breakout sessions” where people came in to watch a short video and have Q&A time.
• Mark teaching the Youth Group (Junior and Senior High) on Saturday night.
• Teaching Junior Church (ages 4-9) on Sunday Morning.
• Participating in a church-wide Question and Answer time at the Sunday-evening Banquet.

It was a real honor to participate in this Missions Conference, and I pray that the Holy Spirit will use what happened there to encourage all Christians to be more courageous and effective in reaching out to the lost.
